Given a total of 13 facts, I created a swipe-through carousel, presenting a collage of imagery, infographics and newspaper style headlines aiming to inform viewers about the shocking facts surrounding suicide rates in the UK. The most challenging part of this brief was creating visuals to co-ordinate with the statistics that would reflect them in a respectful way without detracting from the overall message and striking a balance between the serious nature of the subject matter and the pro-active attitude of the brand.
The Brief - In our mission to help anybody who’s living miserably, we provide ‘Help products’ and services including a helpline and webchat, but we also work to raise awareness through campaigning, driving conversations and pushing for societal change. We use a list of statistics, facts and information about suicide to help equip people to understand the issue. We’d like to create visual assets for each of these headlines/facts that will help get the message across in a more engaging and memorable way while being adaptable and shareable.
I've also worked on a variety of social assets for CALM social channels, promoting guest articles, stories and news updates. Following their brand style guide I always aim to create something fresh that aligns with the post content and fits in well with their other posts on the grid.
