BBC

GRAPHIC DESIGN, ART DIRECTION, ILLUSTRATION, DIGITAL COLLAGE

I started working with BBC Sounds in 2019 just after the launch, creating visuals for their playlists, ranging from high octane beats and rap anthems to slow jamz and focus mixtapes. After working with the Sounds team, I was recommended to a number of podcast producers who I worked with to create podcast artwork across a range of titles and themes.

In 2016 I started designing for BBC Pop hub (Radio 1, 1Xtra, Asian Network, 6 Music, Radio 2) which involved generating creative for regular features like new music releases, radio show posters, special interviews, events and live lounge sessions as well as more bespoke assets like lyric artwork for celebrated artists. Here are just a few of the best from each of the networks.

For each week of the 2018 6 nations I was asked to illustrate each of the team captain’s along with a quote from them. To complete the collection at the end of the 6 nations, I was asked to draw Rugby commentator Ian Robertson to commemorate his final year before his retirement.

Laugh Lessons are 3 minute shorts from new and upcoming comedians. These are generally short sketches around youth-skewing topics. I was asked to create a logo and visual styling with quirky hand drawn elements. The full series of Laugh Lessons is available to watch on youtube.
